what are your favorite War movies Mine are: Saving Private Ryan Glory Braveheart The Bridge over River Kwai The Great Escape Schindlers List(I know, not quite war, but still) The Three Kings(again, but on a personal level I have to admit it) Empire of the Sun Kelly`s Heroes The Dirty Dozen Gallipoli The Big Red One Patton The Longest Day Platoon Full Metal Jacket Apocolypse Now Hamburger Hill I could go on, there are so many (my favorite genre) that I really like.

I think you forget to write "The Patriot " in the list . If you have not seen the movie then you should see it . It is a nice movie by " Mel Gibson " . Another is "We were soldiers " . This is also by Mel Gibson , Both re great movies about war .

i think `black hawk down` also deserves a mention. and although it isnt much about the war but `good morning vietnam` is awesome.
