Yes I have pressed my clothes, rushed around getting the restaurant booked, told everyone that I am going on a DATE !! You shower shave and deoderise and apply too much aftershave of course and tell yourself to be cool. Everyone says to just be yourself and everything will be fine OK  and then you think about the date you want to have and what you would like the girl to be like and hope she is THE ONE. OH boy play your cards right and it will be fine ...

 

But you know that it will never be absolutely perfect so what do you do? Realise that this is just part of the human condition and accept this as part of life and stop worrying about whether you think your friends will like her and hope she likes you too. It is so incredibly demanding and I take my hat off to all those first daters out there who put themselves on the line for a shot at happiness.
