I can`t believe how crazy it was today at all the shopping malls and outlets. All I wanted to do was to get some grocery shopping done, pick up a few last minute items for my nieces and perhaps a nice Christmas gift for "ME".
I ventured out some time around 10:00 am, it is now 9:15 pm and I am now finally home relaxing on the couch with laptop in hand while I wait for my dinner to cook.
So many people waiting to the last minute to even begin shopping for gifts and I heared the same things from all of these people.nothing but bellyaching and griping about how busy it was and how ignorant others are because they have the nerve to stop in the middle of an isle to look at something. They spoke as if this was a rare thing to to happen, much the same as there are so many people that complain about snow, driving in the winter wether, etc........What the hell is wrong with these people? Are they that thick in the skull that they forget Christmas along with winter does happen every year, it certainly isn`t anything new.
I do have to admit though I did get a bit testy with a group of 11 people that stopped dead in their tracks completely blocking three isles only so they can chit chat as though it were some chat room in Yahoo.com.
If they want to go to a mall then do what needs to be done such as shop for what ever items you need, otherwise get the hell out of our way, take your small chat room to the parking lot and stop complaining about how slow things are moving in the store.
This is why I like to have the bulk of my Christmas shopping complete early in the year.
Just think, after Monday.there`s only 363 shopping days `till next Christmas. Isn`t is great? |
